We have several folks at my workplace who smoke, and they have funny key phrases for their smoke breaks, like, “I’m going outside to feed the squirrels.” (As if the squirrels really enjoy ashes for breakfast.)
Today, we heard, “I’m going outside to get some fresh air.”
Am I the only one who thinks that’s funny?
Irony cracks me up.
