Death of a Garden Hose —

Earlier today I was reading about high energy dog breeds and how they either need to be kept active or the owners will suffer the consequences. God bless my Stubborn Catahoula forever, but he demolished my garden hose this morning in a mere matter of minutes when I let him out before I went to work.

Was it boredom? Was it anger? Was it simply that the hose was left there by some forgetful pet owner and needed to be chewed? I may never know. What I *do* know, however, is that plastic left in the yard can and will be chewed to smithereens.

My hope is that by posting this, some garden hose somewhere might be saved and live to sprinkle another day — may mine rest in peace.
