Must be something in the water

August 25, 2007

So I come home and Jon and I are talking, and out of the blue he says:

“I remember a time when I was told I should run for office, but I thought they said orifice, and so it didn’t really turn out so well.

I still got my hands dirty, though.”

What is it with him, lately?!

  1. I don’t know where that was going, but my mind went in all sorts of untoward directions, most of which aren’t necessarily printable here, so I shall refrain.

  2. Most men have a secretive, obscure, giggly, juvenile sense of humor.

Well … the good ones, anyway.

  3. I’m usually running FROM my office … can’t wait to get out of there and get home to goof off.

  4. Hi Ian ~ πŸ˜‰ Jon’s been wise-cracking more than usual. I like it. Even when the direction is NC-17. (Okay, *especially* when the direction is NC-17.

Jim ~ Yet another reason I adore men.

Dan ~ You rock! So funny. I’ve actually told Jon that he *should* run for office because he has such a big heart and I think would do a lot of good. The trouble is that you have to be involved with politicians. Yikes! πŸ˜‰

  5. This is the first time I’ve been over here Angela. Love it! I’ll be back.

  6. hehee! Good for him.

  7. Jane ~ It’s so nice to have you here. Thank you for visiting! I absolutely fell in love with your blog, too, especially the place of the moment. What a wonderful idea! I’m not the best blogging buddy, but I promise to visit as often as I can. Cheers!

    Pool ~ Isn’t he funny? Somehow I knew you’d understand. πŸ˜‰
